HE IS a practicing Cost Accountant, a Wellness coach & lifestyle Modifier. ABOVE ALL HE LOVES NATURE AND heads one of the leading Cost Accountant firm in the country – AK Prasad & Co. He has been associated with the Audit, Financial & Taxation Consultancy in the Coal Industry for more than 32 years and has been instrumental in implementing several major Cost Control measures in various coal mining projects of Coal India ltd. He retired from the post of Dy. General Manager (Finance) in Dec.’2014 from Coal Industry.

After his retirement from coal industry, Mr Prasad started paying back to the society through his  commitment towards social welfare and is involved in various social and philanthropic initiatives, including financing and Water & Energy conservation work in the nearby villages of Allahabad district for the benefit of the rural poor. Seeing the mounting cost of health services, he started teaching people Yogic way of life & lifestyle  modification so that people do not fall prey to the lifestyle diseases. He has contributed actively in several environmental projects towards betterment of the environment for the benefit of future generations to come.

Dr. Choudhury has more than thirty five years of experience in Crop Development AS WELL AS poverty alleviation programmes of Govt of India at national and state levels, National Food Security Mission and Climate change matter PRIMARILY FOR  rural livelihoods. Dr. Choudhury’s specialised experience in the field of crop planning & Management including field, plantation and horticultural crops, soil and water conservation area.  As a Class-I  Group A official of Govt of India Dr Choudhury was closely associated with  Shri Mukesh Khullar, the National mission Director of National Food Security Mission  of Govt of India under implementation across the country  stretching from East to west and North to South during the XI Plan period of India that led to the record foodgrains production to ensure  the nation’s food security.  Dr. Choudhury was among the few recipients of A National Award for his outstanding contribution IN the agricultural development of the country including the National Food Security Mission ALONG WITH HIS CONTRIBUTION to international scientific forumS. Special appreciation was also bagged by Dr. Choudhury for his outstanding contribution in the issue of Narmada Control Authority’s sardar Sarovar Project in Gujarat. As an extraordinary  official and scientist, Dr Choudry’s contribution and experience in the matter of Disaster Management occurring out of Flood,Drought and other such natural catastrophes during his service career   may be  looked into of immense benefit of the society.

As a Ph.D scholar in Agronomy at Tamil Nadu Agril. University, Coimbatore, Dr Choudhury had the specialisation of Cropping Systems and got appreciation for his outstanding research work. He has to his credit many articles in national and international journals on agriculture. Dr Choudhury HAS travelled EXTENSIVELY TO different parts of the world and HIS VAST EXPERIENCE WITH THE BRIGHTEST MINDS IN THE FIELD BOTH NATIONAL AS WELL AS INTERNATIONAL WOULD BE BENEFICIAL FOR ANY ORGANISATION WHICH HE'S A PART OF.

M. SATHYA BABU
DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONS

He joined the central government as a Class II (Group B) officer and retired as Deputy Secretary in the Ministry of Overseas Indian Affairs.  Prior to that he had worked in different ministries and departments and non-secretariat organizations of the central government.  He was AN Administrative Officer IN THE EARLY 1980's, HE THEN WENT ON TO BECOME Directorate of Co-ordination Police Computers which was later merged with the National Crime Records Bureau (NCRB).  He was the first Administrative Officer of the NCRB, overseeing the very formation of that organization.  In fact, he played a crucial role in conceptualizing the formation of NCRB.

He moved to the Ministry of Home Affairs in 1998 and after BEING THERE FOR ten years as Under Secretary  he was posted as Under Secretary in Deptt. of Justice.  After working in the capacity for about three years he moved to the Ministry of Agriculture (Deptt. of Agriculture and Cooperation) and worked there as Under Secretary (TMOP).  He managed the Administrative and other matters of divisions /directorates such as Dte. Of Pulses Development, Dte. Of Oil Seeds Development, Maize Dvn., and the National Oil Seeds Development (NOVOD) Board.

On his promotion he was posted as Deputy Secretary in Ministry of Overseas Indian Affairs and designated as Deputy Secretary (Admn.).  For a considerable time he worked as Deputy Secretary (Admn.) and Director(Vigilance) in that ministry till he retired in February, 2012.

Besides his expansive administrative experience in the central government he is the author of books such as “SICA, the Sick Industrial Companies (Special Provisions) Act, 1985 : A First Hand Account”, published by Kanishka (meant for chartered accountants and advocates); “MOTIVATING BUREAUCRACY”, published by Macmillan, which has acquired the reputation as a  best   seller.  Since it was a best seller for them, Macmillan published the hindi edition of the book with the title, “Prashasan Evam    Afsarshahi : Vaastavikata Kya Hai”.  At the instance of  Shri Narendra Modi, the then Chief Minister of Gujarat, Directorate of Public Libraries had purchased more than 100  copies       of  the  book  for  the  public libraries in the State. Similarly ,  on the  directions  of  the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu  Directorate of Public Libraries in Tamil Nadu had purchased a sizeable number of the copies of the book in English for various public libraries in that state.  The book has been included in the syllabus of B.A/M.A (Public Administration) by Universities such as Kurukshetra University.  Shri Sathya Babu is also the author of the book titled “Techniques of Essay writing” meant for students preparing for civil services, etc., examinations. With his vast and varied experience, he intends to be of tremendous assistance and guidance to our NGO.

She COMPLETED HER B.Sc (Botany) from Andhra University, St.Theresa’s College for Women, Eluru, West Godavari District, A.P.  THEN SHE WENT ONTO DO HER B.Ed from Maharishi Dayanand University, Rohtak, Haryana.  AFTER FINISHING HER UNIVERSITY EDUCATION SHE worked in different capacities WITH VARIOUS private organizations in Hyderabad.  She ALSO worked as a teacher in Santa Convent, Periera’s English Medium School and she built up THE reputation OF BEING an excellent teacher and continued to work there till 1977 Then she went on to work in Andhra Bank, when it was in the private sector.

After having worked for three and half years in the PRIVATE SECTOR, she JOINED the central government and after working in different capacities, she retired as a gazetted officer in July, 2014.

Besides HER ILLUSTRIOUS CAREER, she is a qualified homoeoPATHIC doctor with a recognized diploma from Mavelil Homoeo Mission in Thiruvananthapuram.  She is thus qualified to use a degree of doctor with her name but she does not use and does not intend to use the same in the normal course.  She had also participated in the Times of India’s “Teach India Programme” for a short period which, to her disappointment she could not complete because of some ISSUES WITH THE LOGISTICS.  Eversince then she has been looking for opportunities for working in a social sector for the benefit of the country’s population at large AND WE'RE GRATEFUL TO HAVE HER HERE WITH US.
